About Evergreen Christian School
Evergreen Christian School partners with Christian families to provide an academically rigorous high school education, fully committed to the application of God’s Word to all aspects of teaching, learning, and living with the goal of preparing leaders who will impact the world for Christ.
"We have been so incredibly impressed with the teachers, staff, and leadership in building a Christ-centered high school that builds up students in their faith, has a challenging course load, and pushes students to be their best. Most of all, we love that the teachers and staff really get to know the students as individuals. It is important for our family to ensure our kids have a biblical foundation in all aspects of life -- at home, church, school, friendships, and athletics. We as parents are our children’s primary disciples. When they go to school, we need to know that the values we teach at home are being reinforced every day at school. We know that ECS will not only provide a high level of education, but most importantly teach our kids to defend their faith with biblical truth." Parent Testimony

The Class of 2025 at Evergreen is leaving its mark in a lasting and meaningful way with the presentation of its official senior class gift. Not only have the seniors and their families gifted the school with a very large spirit rock, but they have also contributed generously toward our prayer garden project. This is a tradition that began last year and symbolizes the class’s gratitude, unity, and dedication to improving the student experience for generations to come.
Evergreen Christian School College Advisor Christine McCurdy presented students with prestigious awards at this year’s end-of-year assembly.
One of the culminating experiences of being a student at ECS is the Senior Oral Defense. As part of the Senior Capstone Project, students write a 15–20-page Christian worldview paper and defend it in front of a panel of faculty members who ask them questions about what they wrote. In the Senior Thesis, students write a section articulating their understanding of the Christian worldview.

With the end of another school year comes the celebration of our second graduating class. This year, 40 amazing students walked across the stage to receive their diplomas, turning their tassels and officially becoming high school graduates. We have had the honor and privilege of seeing these young women and men grow up over the past few years, and we could not be prouder of what they have become. All 40 of them have exceeded our expectations, and each one of them has truly helped us build this school, establish a culture, and set a standard of excellence. Both they and their families are leaving a lasting legacy that will be a blessing for future generations of Eagles.
As Christians, we are called to do everything as unto the Lord (Colossians 3:23), striving for excellence “in everything—in faith, in speech, in knowledge, in all earnestness,” and in love (2 Corinthians 8:7). Not only will we strive to more overtly bring our faith onto the field, court, mat, course, and even into the pool, but we will also strive for athletic excellence—helping each student athlete grow in skill and competing to the best of our ability.
We are to love God with both mind and heart. The only way to truly do this in our fallen world is through the regeneration and renewal that comes with placing our faith in Christ and his death on the cross as the payment for our sin. This means that in a Christian school, the focus must be on both heart and mind.
