Admission Requirements
Parents/Guardians
It is expected that at least one parent or legal guardian meet the following requirements:
- Have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and have accepted Him as personal Lord and Savior (John 3:1–8)
- Acknowledge the Bible as God’s Word and teach and instruct biblical truths in the home (Deuteronomy 6:6–7)
- Be committed to co-labor with the school in the education and discipleship of his or her child(ren) (Amos 3:3)
- Agree with Evergreen Christian School Statement of Faith and Governing Principles.
Students
- Students must have a record of good behavior.
- Parents should follow the steps below to complete the admission process for the student.
Rolling Admission Enrollment
- School applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis.
- After completing the application process, applicants will be added to the waiting pool if classes are full.
- ECS allows second semester enrollment in mid-January.
- Evergreen Christian School utilizes an online admission application through FACTS. To apply, please click on button below.
- After submitting the application including the $150 non-refundable application fee, the Admission Committee will notify you about your next steps. If the Admission Committee agrees to move forward with the admission process, parent and student interviews will be scheduled.
- Upon submitting the application, an email will be sent to you with a link to apply for financial aid through our Variable Tuition Program. We encourage you to apply for financial aid immediately after submitting the school application.
Online Reference/Evaluation Forms
Parents will be asked to provide names and emails for the following. This information is required as part of the admission process.
- Pastor name and email to complete a Pastoral Reference Form
- English teacher name and email to complete a Confidential English Teacher Evaluation Form
- Math teacher name and email to complete a Confidential Math Teacher Evaluation Form
Variable Tuition
- After submitting an application, you may apply for variable tuition through the FACTS Grant & Aid Assessment (FGAA) process.
The following documents are required for application to ECS.
Student Records
- Copy of most recent report cards
- Copy of Educational/Diagnostic or Psychological Evaluation Results, if applicable
Every applicant is asked to submit standardized test results. Parents can register their student for an ECS Entrance Exam; PSAT, IOWA, Stanford, and SSAT testing results are also accepted. The testing date must be within one year of application. Parents should email full score reports to Admission@ECSLoudoun.org. International students are required to take the TOEFL iBT or the SSAT, depending on the individual situation. Please read our International Student Policy for details.
- ECS Entrance Exam: ECS offers a $125 ECS Entrance Exam each month. Families must register in advance by completing a registration form.
- PSAT/IOWA/Stanford: Families can submit a full score report to ECS.
- SSAT: Families can register a student to take the SSAT test at home online (available only certain days per monthy), at a prometric test center, or at a paper-based test center. Register at https://www.ssat.org/.
The Admission Office will contact you to schedule a parent interview and a student interview once your application has been submitted. Both parents / legal guardians and student are required to meet with administrators.
Families will be informed of acceptance or denial of admission after the Admission Committee reviews all information. If accepted, an enrollment packet will be issued. The enrollment packet will include a request for a birth certificate, a Virginia School Entrance Health Form, court/custody documents if applicable, choosing either a monthly or one-time tuition payment plan, and payment of a $1200 deposit which goes toward the student fee and tuition balance.
