Practical Tools

Evergreen Christian School not only calls students to excel in knowledge but is committed to providing them with the tools needed to succeed. Each day will begin with an academic enrichment period designed to briefly highlight effective study habits, test taking strategies, time management, and critical thinking skills. This period also allows Evergreen to begin each day with prayer and the reading of Scripture, as well as provide regularly scheduled advisory meetings to help students navigate the social and emotional challenges of high school.

Additionally, each day ends with a seminar period designed to allow students to get a head start on homework, seek out help from teachers, and collaborate on group projects. As our program grows, the goal is to have a Learning Center with faculty-staffed writing and math labs, an on-site Executive Function Coach, and an SSD Coordinator.
