To kick off our Homecoming Week 2026, ECS invited back members of the past two graduating classes to speak at a special Chapel. Our hearts were warmed by the turnout. Mr. Osborne led a panel alumni discussion about what it looks like to leave ECS and head to college or other post-grad opportunities. Students shared how their faith has been challenged and strengthened after graduation. They spoke about practical tips for time management and academics in their first few years of college. Perhaps most affectionately, students reminisced on some of their favorite things about their time at ECS—teachers who they miss, community that they keep in touch with despite being far apart, and lots of stories about activities in and outside of class.
Following Chapel, we had a special time of fellowship where students joined together in the Media Center to reconnect over bagels and coffee. Lots of staff members stopped by to catch up with students, and conversation lingered for quite a while before students made their way home. We are so thankful for our growing body of ECS alumni, and are so grateful to have made an impact on their lives.
