Dean's List

Alumnus Wearing a Sash at Awards Ceremony

. In his first year at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in New York, alumnus Benn Harders (ECS Class of 2025), shown at left, participated in the RPI Honors Convocation for all recipients of the Renssalaer Medal. He looks good in a sash! In addition, he was named to the Dean’s List at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute for the Fall 2025 Semester.

For those of you unfamiliar, the Dean's Honor List is published by colleges after each semester to recognize undergraduate students who have completed at least 12 credit hours and earned a grade point average of 3.5 or higher. As you can imagine, his parents are extremely proud–and grateful for ECS. “Thanks for the solid foundation and academic rigor you provided my son,” shared Mrs. Harders, “who is now excelling at an academically challenging university!”

It’s one thing to succeed in high school and get into a good college, quite another to then succeed as a full-time college student. While we have complete confidence that all of our graduates have been thoroughly prepared for the rigors of college coursework, it is always great to hear about their success.
