ECS hosted its first pep rally of the school year. In addition to honoring our Fall season teams (Cross Country, Girls Volleyball, and Boys Soccer), we had student tryouts for the honor of suiting up as the school mascot. Several students took their turn dressed as the Eagle and showcasing their best mascot skills. The mascot candidates worked hard to get the crowd riled up, did a lot of dancing, and even tried multiple times to dunk the basketball. Even though this was just our second pep rally as as school, it was by far the loudest and most exciting.

The Honors Choral Ensemble started off the event signing the National Anthem before our Athletic Director, Mr. Kris Johnson, introduced the teams and announced each team roster. The students then participated in a grade level competition to come up with the best school cheer, with the seniors taking home the trophy.
