We were excited to induct a whopping 44 new students into our chapter this year, with a grand total of 68 members currently walking our hallowed halls. The new inductees were formally recognized for their accomplishments in scholarship, service, leadership, and character.
Giving Tuesday is an annual event that challenges each of us to contribute to charitable organizations across the country. Please prayerfully consider giving to ECS on this national giving day. Together, we are building strong disciples who will impact their communities for Christ.
As Evergreen’s Fine Arts Department Chair, Kelly Park has been with ECS since the very first year of its existence. Evergreen is blessed to have someone with such skill and rich experience building our program. According to Head of School Michael Dewey, “Ms. Park is the reason we have been able to build such a high-quality program in just a few years. Her passion for music education and vision for excellence has grown ECS Arts into one of the most outstanding aspects of our school.”

As a Christian school, we strive to nourish the soul and educate the mind—to ground our students in a living and vibrant love for Christ and his Word, and to cultivate within them a thirst for truth and wisdom. What I have learned over the years is that we cannot effectively do one without the other. Our Creator is a God of love and of truth. As creatures designed in his image, we have both a heart and a mind. It is because we prioritize developing a student’s relationship with Christ, that our students in turn can be successful academically.
Junior students conclude each year with EQ #15, which asks the following question: How does the Christian worldview inform and guide our use of technology and social media? Having taught last’s year’s Christian Ethics class, I was able to lead students in several discussions about how their faith impacts their use of technology, as well as how technology impacts their faith (for both good and bad).
With the start of the 2025–2026 school year, Evergreen Christian has attained its most significant milestone ever—and yet another reminder of God’s faithfulness. Our official enrollment on day one was exactly 200 students! I am convinced that God ordained the establishment of this school. He alone is responsible for giving us the vision for this school and calling us to fulfill the mission of raising up the next generation of Christian leaders. The proof of this is in how he has miraculously provided every step of the way. When the odds were stacked against us, and the so-called experts told us it couldn’t be done, God made it happen!
