"I am in awe when I think of the faithfulness of God in both establishing and growing our school. Each year we have prayerfully set ambitious enrollment goals for Evergreen Christian, and each year we have surpassed those goals. Knowing the challenges we have faced as a start-up program, I can honestly say that beginning this year with 151 students in grades 9-12 is a complete work of God. 151 students! Just writing that number fills me with praise.
 
Yes, He has drawn wonderful people to ECS that have worked tirelessly behind the scenes planning, recruiting, and preparing for each year. Having worked at several Christian schools in the past, I can honestly say that our faculty and staff are the best I have seen.
 
Yes, He has led godly families and amazingly talented students to be a part of our community. These are families that took a huge step of faith enrolling in a school that had no history or building. They have prayed for us, volunteered their time, given financially to assist other families, and have been our best marketing tool.
 
Yes, He has surrounded us with visionaries and benefactors who have sacrificed time, talent, and treasure to answer the call to start a Christian high school in Loudoun County. They also stepped out in faith, confronting each and every obstacle with a persistent confidence that it was God leading them every step of the way. These men and women continue to provide sage advise and counsel.
 
God has truly blessed us with a community dedicated to fulfilling the mission of raising up the next generation of Christian leaders. But you can be sure that all the glory is due to Him! “Unless the Lord builds the house, those who build it labor in vain” (Psalm 127:1).
 
As we celebrate the beginning of a new year, I want to thank all of you for your continued commitment to the vision of ECS. Let this record enrollment of 151 students stand as a testament to the faithfulness of God and the people who have chosen to trust in Him."
