On October 13, 2021, all 9th and 10th grade students participated in this year's October PSAT.

The PSAT has two main purposes at ECS.

For 9th and 10th grade students, the PSAT is used to familiarize students with the format and the general difficulty level of the questions. The goal is that by the time they are juniors and take the PSAT, they will be comfortable with the format and what to expect on the test (reducing test anxiety) and do their best.

ECS uses the results to track student achievement and progress from year to year and helps guide us in course offerings and placement.
