Evergreen Christian School recognizes that each of our students has been uniquely created by God for his purposes. As our students grow in their grasp of truth and in cultivating character, and a life of service at Evergreen Christian, we trust that they will become more like Christ and will be prepared to be salt and light in the world when they graduate from our school and move on to college and careers.

By providing information, guidance, and assistance throughout the college search and application process, our goal is to help students discover which college option will offer the academic and social environment that will help them thrive and bring glory to the Lord Jesus.

Evergreen’s goal has always been to develop a program that not only academically and spiritually prepares students to excel in college, but provides them with the tools necessary to be admitted into the college of their choice. We have continued to work closely with our educational partners in developing a first rate program intentionally modeled after Trinity Christian School’s highly successful advising program. Unique to Evergreen will be our year-long college preparation course for sophomores and juniors designed to help them navigate the entire application process, from identifying application targets to strategies for improving entrance exam scores.

We are excited to announce that Ms. Janis Pierce has been hired as our full-time college advisor for the 2022-2023 school year. Ms. Pierce has over 40 years of experience in education, both in public and private schools, and at the elementary and high school levels. In addition to working with Mr. Dewey to design our college preparation course curriculum, Ms. Pierce will visit college campuses to meet admission office personnel and acquaint them with our program. As we approach the coming school year, she will be reaching out to parents and students to introduce herself and inform them about scheduled advising events.
