EagleFest 2025 was a Fun, Fundraiser for ECS!

Winners with medal

Eaglfest '25 was a fun, fundraiser!

September concluded with our fifth annual EagleFest. While this year’s event took on a different look than previous years, it was a fun-filled day of fellowshipping with fellow members of the Evergreen community and engaging in friendly competition. Due to county construction running along the front of our property, EagleFest did not feature the traditional 5K fun run. In its place, parent and student teams signed up for several tournaments.

Pickleball was a big hit, with even Mrs. Byre and Mr. Dewey teaming up to hit the court. They, of course, came in last place—pulling more than a few muscles in the process. While team Osborne and team Burke put up a good fight, team Hanson easily took first place. The cornhole tournament turned out to be a true family affair, with several parents pairing up with their children to show off their skills. Team Cole walked away with the first-place ribbon, proving themselves to be exceptionally talented at tossing bean bags. The Spikeball tournament was a big hit with our students, where the competition was so intense that it lasted longer than the other two. All in all, families enjoyed live music, great food, and even a few temporary tattoos provided by our Honor Society students.

We are happy to announce that as our kick-off to our annual fundraising Matching Campaign, EagleFest surpassed the goal of raising $10,000, bringing in just over $12,000. Thank you to our event sponsors: Rock Hill Farm, Renewed BodyBTI360, Irish Rose Cornhole. And, thanks to everyone who participated and donated funds to raise money for our school. What a blessing! We look forward to the return of our fun run next year, as well as maintaining the new traditions established this year. Go, Eagles!
