Christmas Concert & Art Show 2025

Christmas Concert Concert & Art Show

Once again, we had a packed house for our annual Christmas Concert and Art Show. While we were blessed to partner with a new venue this year as our program continues to grow and requires more space, Our Savior's Ways Lutheran Church in Ashburn was still standing room only. It was a beautiful place to showcase our artists, singers, and musicians. As guests arrived, they were greeted in the foyer by works of art from our Digital Photography, Drawing, Honors Art, and Art Foundations students. This year featured more art than ever before.

As always, the caliber of musical performance throughout the evening was exceptional. Our choir kicked off the first half with a hilarious rendition of "Pachelbel's Canon" that encouraged attendees to turn off their cell phones. Then our Guitar students began the official program with a beautiful instrumental version of Joy to the World. Our Jazz Band filled the crowd with laughter and joy with their rendition of "I Want a Hippopotamus for Christmas," featuring freshman Chase M. on vocals and a surprise visit from someone dressed as a hippopotamus. The Chamber Strings added a classic touch with I'm Dreaming of a White Christmas, featuring some old school crooning from senior Charlie W. The evening culminated in a stunning performance of the Hallelujah Chorus from Handel’s Messiah, featuring both students, staff, and parents. It was a lovely night for all that attended, and we are so thankful for our music and arts teachers for pouring into our talented students.
