About the Coach
Coach Olivia Bullock earned a B.A. in Biblical Studies with minors in Theology and Business from Houghton College. She is currently working on a master’s degree in Biblical Studies from the Reformed Theological Seminary. Over the past 15 years, Coach Bullock has greatly enjoyed playing soccer, including her years playing for Houghton College, where she served one year as the chaplain. While in high school at Loudoun County High, she played on two state championship teams. Coach Bullock also has been blessed to instruct athletes at various soccer camps in the community.
Along with her experience and love for the game, Coach Bullock has a passion for sports ministry. She sees how soccer can bring people together, quickly establish bonds, and provide a platform to share the gospel. She also believes that soccer provides many opportunities to serve others and humble ourselves.
For ECS soccer, her goals are encouraging the team to be better players, inspiring servant leadership within the team, and providing a robust program for the team through effective instruction in the game.
Coach Bullock uses 1 Cor. 10:31 as the team's guiding principle: "So... whatever you do, do it for the glory of God."
