Tennis

About the Program

Tennis is a spring sport that runs from March to May. Regular season practices are held throughout the week at the Patrick Henry College (PHC) tennis courts. Practices consist of technical development, drills, and point play. Twelve athletes are added to the roster to compete against other teams a few times during the season. All athletes are welcome! No prior experience is needed

2024-2025 Season

Tennis at ECS took a big step forward this year. This is the first year our coed tennis team has been able to compete against other schools. We competed in two official doubles and two singles events this season and will plan for a full schedule of competition next year. Thank you to the nine ECS student-athletes that helped kick off our first competition season for tennis.

2023-2024 Season

The ECS tennis team finished up their season with a team tournament. The co-ed roster consisted of eight eager Eagles looking to work on their serves, volleys, and overhead smashes. As they make preparations for next year, they hope to expand their roster and begin competing against other area schools.
