Weight room is coming along! Looking forward to offering our students Weight Training as an elective.
Our very first volleyball season at Evergreen Christian School was a SMASHING success! After admission into the Northern Virginia Independent Athletic Conference (NVIAC), our Lady Eagles competed against other JV and Varsity teams in the league. After two months of competition (including one win against a local varsity team), the Lady Eagles were seeded seventh in the JV tournament and walked away as the second place champions! Coach Sweeny is incredibly proud of this team and grateful for their unwavering dedication and spectacular attitudes.
Congratulations to our Eagle Cross Country Team! They finished strong with each team member achieving a PR (Personal Record) time in the race. Great job, Coach Cutrona and CC athletes!
Congratulations to our Lady Eagle JV Girls Volleyball Team, who placed 2nd overall in the Northern Virginia Independent Athletic Conference in their very first season!
Cohen V. and Ben H. took place in a preseason wrestling tournament over the Oct. 1, 2022 weekend. Go, Eagle Wrestlers!
We’re so proud of our Eagle Cross Country Team, competing in their first meet of the season! Before the meet began, the team gathered together and encouraged one another according to God’s Word in Philippians 4:13. During one another’s races, they cheered on their fellow teammates from the sidelines of the course.
The ECS Eagles competed in a round robin tournament on December 19, 2021, in Waldorf, MD. They were very successful in the competition, capitalizing on their learned skills and becoming aware of areas for potential improvements. The team consisted of Eagles Jonah E., Ben H., Todd L., and Cohen V., along with Nathan M. from another school. They were cornered by ECS Head Wrestling Coach Carolyn Wester and Assistant Coach Michael Dinh.
